Learning To Drive
Driving lessons are flexible and will be arranged to suit individual needs. Many people choose to learn to drive over a period of time taking one or two lessons a week. This helps pupils to gradually gain confidence and allows them to progress at their own rate building on their knowledge week by week. On average it takes around 40 hours to learn to drive.
For people with previous driving experience, perhaps having driven a motorbike, a faster way of learning is an option.
Intensive driving courses, taken over two weeks, or semi intensive courses, taken over four weeks, are available with Matthew McGrotty Driver Training.
For people looking at taking either of these courses a one hour assessment will be carried out free of charge to determine the number of hours required to reach driving test standard. A price for the total course will then be given and a 50% deposit required before the course begins. |
